Boex Foundation CIC is the social good arm of the Boex corporate family. Boex Limited is the engine using innovative technology to make global trade simpler and more affordable for small and mid-sized businesses. It’s a double win, small and medium sized enterprises succeed while key U.N. SDG goals are achieved.
By eliminating slack in the trade industry Boex Limited is capable of reserving 65% of its net profits for the foundation. The foundation uses these funds to effectively engage with the United Nations sustainability goals. The biggest, most impactful goal is learning opportunities for women in developing countries and Indigenous communities. Boex truly believes that business can be a real force for positive change in the world.
Women, who disproportionately shoulder the burdens of global inequity, possess immense, often overlooked potential to catalyze meaningful change. When women are given the opportunity to learn, they become agents of transformation, fostering healthier families, strengthening community resilience, and advancing sustainable development on a global scale.
Our mission is to empower 72 million girls and women worldwide by providing continuous access to Grade 1–12 equivalency learning opportunities. This is not merely a target, it is a global imperative. Learning is the most effective tool for dismantling systemic inequality. Equipping women and girls with knowledge, confidence, and skills enables them to lead within their communities and across economies. The ripple effects of this initiative extend far beyond the individual: it accelerates progress on every dimension of the Sustainable Development Goals, from eradicating poverty and achieving gender equality to advancing climate action and fostering inclusive, resilient global partnerships.
Sustainability lies at the heart of the Boex Foundation’s purpose, deeply intertwined with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our bold commitment to reaching 72 million girls and women with transformative access to knowledge and opportunity is more than a goal, it is a generational catalyst for lasting change. Lifelong learning is a fundamental human right (SDG 4), and a spark that drives broader progress: advancing gender equality (SDG 5), breaking the cycle of poverty (SDG 1), improving health outcomes (SDG 3), and powering inclusive economic participation (SDG 8).
By nurturing skills, agency, and leadership capacity, we enable women and girls to become architects of climate resilience and informed decision-making, driving responsible consumption (SDGs 12 & 13) and strengthening peaceful, inclusive societies (SDG 16). Through this commitment to knowledge empowerment and capacity building, the Boex Foundation helps unlock human potential at scale and shapes a more just, equitable, and sustainable world, where every individual has the tools to thrive, and no one is left behind.
